Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah Death: Terrorist organization Hezbollah has confirmed the death of its chief Hassan Nasrallah. Earlier, the Israeli army had claimed that Nasrallah was killed in an airstrike on Friday. The IDF shared a post in this regard on its official social media site X saying, “Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world.”

Who was Hassan Nasrallah?
Under his leadership, Hassan Nasrallah established Hezbollah as a political and military organization, which played an important role in the Lebanese political scene. At the age of 15, Nasrallah decided to become a member of the Amal movement in Lebanon. At the age of 16, he reached Iraq and stayed there for two years.
At the age of just 22, Nasrallah showed his commitment to the organization by joining Hezbollah. After the assassination of Abbas Mousavi in 1992, Nasrallah was made the head of Hezbollah. Nasrallah strengthened Hezbollah’s political and military wings, increasing the organization’s stake in Lebanon’s elections, politics and government. His close friendship with Iran further increased Hezbollah’s military power. After 2000, he planned military actions against Israel.
Israeli–Hezbollah war of 2006
In 2006, under the leadership of Nasrallah, Hezbollah launched a major attack on Israel, in which 8 Israeli soldiers were killed. After this attack, Israel started a war against Hezbollah, which lasted for 34 days. Recently, Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel on Nasrallah’s instructions. Israel considers Hezbollah a terrorist organization, while Nasrallah had been presenting his organization as a resistance force.
